During a brief speech, Vignolo said when it comes to the Germany Football World Cup starting next month, it’s going to be hard for the staff at the embassy to decide who they will support because they will want both TT and Argentina to do well.

Gift said TT’s “Warriors” will not be easily intimidated at the World Cup for, judging from their recent victory in a World Cup warm-up match in Austria over the Austria Vienna Football Club, it shows they mean business in Europe.

He added that relations between both countries have been growning from strength to strength. He said TT has the potential to explore and penetrate markets within Latin America and both countries are working towards that.
