Man killed in crash

The dead man was identified as Anthony Herbert. According to reports, Herbert was heading east with three other occupants when he lost control of the car and crashed into the tree. Herbert died on the spot while the other occupants were rushed to the Mount Hope Hospital for treatment.

The accident caused a major pile-up of traffic on the highway. Tunapuna Police are investigating.
