Digicel sponsors Millenium golf

Digicel are sponsors of this event which is the first major golf tournament to be hosted at the PGA designed Millenium Lakes Golf and Country Club — an 18 Hole championship layout.

An entry of over 100 players is expected for this tournament.

All the country’s top male and female golfers are scheduled to participate including Carlos Baynes, Simon Merry , Patrick Boocock, Ray Roberts and Teddy Grell.

The women’s division is headed by Tracey Clarke, Martine de Gannes, Monifa Sealey and Victoria Seenath. This event counts towards the National Ranking System and is the penultimate event in which golfers can earn points towards the system.

The TTGA has expressed their appreciation to Millenium Lakes Golf Club and Digicel for partnering in the hosting of this tournament and recognises their effort in improving the sport of golf in Trinidad and Tobago.
