Better service at Moruga Library

This occurs on a regular basis and makes it difficult for the students to study. Also, I would like to state that there are signs posted in the library which prohibit the use of cell phones and eating and drinking, yet a cell phone rings loudly and eating goes on. Isn’t the library supposed to be a quiet place?

The staff and not the public disobey all the library rules. Furthermore, NALIS needs to reiterate the policies of the library. I would like NALIS to bring to the attention the dress code to their staff. NALIS please be reminded the library is a government institution and all workers whether male or female must be properly attired.

Finally, I must also comment on the service at the library, the Internet and the outdated reference material at the library. Anytime I ask for a book, which is not available at the library I am referred to the Princes Town Public Library. I signed up to use the Internet and was told to wait until a computer was available.

I waited for one hour, during this period someone was on a computer chatting and laughing very loudly. I got tired and left and promised never to return to that library. NALIS, I would like you to address these issues immediately because the literacy needs of the community are not met and we are being constantly referred to another library.
