Cops destroy ‘ganja’, 21 held

The exercise, carried out at La Lune and Basseterre, was spearheaded by ASP Premchan Ramdath and included police from Eastern and Southern Divisions.

Police raids were also carried out in the same areas in which 11 persons were arrested for narcotic offences. The other ten were detained for outstanding warrants with respect to domestic violence, house breaking and larceny and malicious wounding.

Cpls Alpheus, Jagroo and Mohammed and PCs Bishop and Nanan were a part of the exercise.
