Award for most disciplined pupil

Goolcharan, 11, was presented with his award at the end of Friday’s graduation ceremony for Standard Five pupils. He received a thunderous applause and cheers from his schoolmates, teachers and principal Mervyn Chin Wing.

Goolcharan was described as a well-behaved, respectable and focused boy.

He was one of 54 pupils who graduated having sat the SEA exams. Results are expected next week.

The graduation theme was “Do you know where you’re going to.” The valedictory speech was given by Gia Julien while the feature address was delivered by principal of El Instituto De Espanol, Ulric Alleyne. At the graduation ceremony were officials from the Ministry of Education and the Point Fortin Borough Council.
