Remarkable and stunning performance

I was fortunate to witness the three matches and I have never felt so proud and patriotic of my country. We shocked the world and all television stations and newspapers in Germany paid tribute to our country.

The international press heaped accolades on the Soca Warriors. One television station even indicated that the Soca Warriors team was one of the successes of the World Cup. All over Germany, people started wearing red to indicate their support for this country. As we walked the streets fans congratulated us and even schoolchildren greeted us.

The Soca Warriors have made this country very popular throughout the world and we must all congratulate and thank them for the outstanding performance.

Special thanks must go to Mr Austin Jack Warner who stood by the team and provided enormous support, thereby ensuring this country compete with distinction at a world premier event.
