B-ball officials meet tomorrow

The Clinic was well-subscribed as 27 of the 33 participants recorded an attendance of 100 percent.

Following that initiative Earl John, President of the Federation and Obadiah Asher, Vice President, Organisation and Development, met zonal chairpersons on Monday evening at the Southern Regional Sports Arena, Pleasantville. In attendance were Lt Jason Hills (North), Dominic Rodriguez (East), John Patterson (Central), Barry Jackson (South), David Warrick (South-East) and Anthony Phillip (South-West).

Highlight of their discussions were the national Under-16 competition, clinics for referees and table officials, community coaching programmes, workshops for administrators and the revitalisation of zonal commissions to include representatives of the National Coaches’ Association and ABOTT (Association of Basketball Officials of Trinidad and Tobago).

The monthly statutory meeting of the Board of the Federation will be held tomorrow at 10 am at the Maloney Indoor Sport Arena.
