Exchange gained 14 passes for top schools and came a close second to Montrose Government’s 15 passes. Principal Maureen Goolcharan said: “We have seen a continuous flow of activity in our school community and through our varied experiences we have witnessed growth and development , each new day presenting an exciting challenge for our pupil’s skills and the creativity of members of staff thus allowing us to recognise that a teacher really affects eternity, as he/she can never tell where his/her influence really stops.”

Goolcharan said the school participates in all events or activities that are organised by the Caroni Education Division and “this assists us to co-exist very harmoniously with the wider community with the surrounding NGO’s playing a vital and steadfast role in their support for the school.” She was particularly pleased with the cooperation of parents “and this leaves nothing to be desired. as the hard-working, helpful and committed parents take a noble position in carrying the school forward.”

In tribute to the staff, Goolcharan said.“As a Presbyterian School we continue to cherish high ideals and values in life, and to inculcate in our pupils a deep feeling of loyalty for the country, and to strive for excellence in whatever you choose. Focus at all times on reaching for the stars for in keeping your sights at a high level you will steer clear of mediocrity. “I could never have asked the Presbyterian School Board of Management for a better and more dedicated staff,” she stressed.
