Jack of all trades found dead
According to police reports, at about 5.30 pm Tuesday, passers-by noticed a smell coming from some bushes, near the Arima Old Road. Upon investigating they found the partially decomposed body of a man.
They immediately alerted the E999 Rapid Response, who notified officers at the Homicide Bureau of Investi-gations who visited the scene.
The body was viewed by the district medical officer, and taken to the Forensic Science Centre for an autopsy.
When Newsday spoke with Donna St Rose, mother of the dead man, she quoted Psalm 37:10, from the Bible, which said, “Soon wickedness will be no more on the earth and the righteous will possess the earth, and enjoy peace in abundance.”
She described her son, as “her baby, and a Jack of all Trades, who was good at many and master of none.”
“He was very helpful to his family, and his roommate,” the mother said adding that St Rose wanted to become a Christian. The Homicide Bureau of Investigations is continuing the inquiries.
