Unit Trust pays US$8M

In a statement yesterday, UTC said this current payout brings distributions in the fund to a total of US$110.43 million since its inception in April 2000.
The UTC added that so far for this year, US$16.1 million has been distributed to unitholders in this fund which pays interest quarterly.

The company said since its inception in April 2000, the fund has been the dominant fund in the short-term US dollar denominated segment of the mutual fund industry and is one of the most preferred funds for unitholders who want access to the highest rates for their US dollars.
