Local models including former Miss Trinidad and Tobago Magdalene Walcott, Rhian Vialva, Christene Steele, Simone Rudder and Tara Riley strutted their stuff displaying Meiling’s creativity.

The show which was held at the Bois Cano Bistro and Bar at the Kapok was well coordinated with models both male and female flowing with the music and literally making the clothes talk.

There were white, striped and bold colours with blouse, shirts, skirts, casuals and even formal dresses. The collection was varied and the audience lapped it up showing their appreciation both verbal and with applause.

This was the second occasion that Kapok and Meiling got together to host a charity fashion show. Last year the team raised $35,000 which was donated to the Amica House in Curepe . Proceeds from Tuesday’s show will go to The Cotton Tree Foundation in St Ann’s.
