Freeport meeting show support for Dookeran

Panday, Ramesh, Warner, Kamla . . . every one of them have never and will never be able to pull that kind of crowd. On their own, they just don’t have the support and now they have no choice but to admit that.

Really, they are only interested in mounting platforms and saying things that will get them press coverage. Dookeran on the other hand, went before thousands of supporters and kept his head on and spoke like a real statesman.

It is therefore no surprise that while Dookeran has planted himself as a real leader of people - as our next Prime Minister if there is any justice in the world - Panday has called for violence, Ramesh is sulking and plotting again in some corner, Warner is at Whitehall for a meeting with the Prime Minister and Kamla thought the most important thing was ‘what Panday said’.

Thank God we won’t have to bear with these people for much longer.
