US institute trains 800 local cops

In making this announcement Wednesday, the Ministry of National Security said these police officers have already started to put their new skills to work in their daily duties and the Institute has arranged additional training programmes for the officers later in the year.

The ministry said 772 officers participated in high impact supervision sessions conducted by the institute while 32 officers took part in the institute’s instructor development academy programme.

These officers varied in rank from constable to superintendent.
