Preliminary Francois murder inquiry adjourned

State Prosecutors and witnesses were missing from Court as the preliminary inquiry into the murder of Trevlin Francois continued on Friday. Chief Magistrate Sherman McNicolls could not proceed with the case. McNicolls stood down the matters to give prosecutors and witnesses time to appear. Kellon Howard was before McNicolls charged with murder, but the state prosecutor was no where to be found, while attorney Leon Gokool appeared for the defence. Howard is charged with the murder of Trevlin Francois at Bridge Road, Diego Martin, on February 4, 2006. Francois was allegedly shot while in his bedroom by Howard. Hearing will resume on August 9.
