Harding ends Caymanas drought

And he did it in style, guiding Miracle Man to victory in the Grade 1 J$1,100,000 feature Prime Minister’s Stakes for three-year-old and older horses over 2000 metres.

And later in the evening he booted home La Reina to win the Grade 2 - J$850,000 Betting Gaming & Lotteries Commission Trophy over 1400 metres.

In both races, Trinidadian Harding had Wesley “Callaloo” Henry behind him, first astride Good Company and then astride Swing By the three-year-old filly which is owned in Trinidad by Bernard Dulal-Whiteway.

The victories saw Harding regaining the lead in the jockeys standings, taking his tally to 52, one more than Henry. Also landing a double yesterday was veteran rider Charles Hussey who moved to 47 winning rides.
