Big bands mas launch

Tonight Harts will launch “Utopia” at the Country Club in Maraval. The band is designed by Gerald Hart and will comprise 19 sections. Costumes and drawings will be on display at the launch.

Music for tonight’s launch will be supplied by Imij and Co, Destra Garcia and Atlantik and DJ Scobie. Slaughter, Explainer and Surge will make guest appearances. As Hart’s music fade away into the early morning, Tribe comes into play as they launch their 2007 presentation “Ole Time Something…come back again” at The Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah.

The media will get first glimpse of the costumes as the committee will host the media from 7.30 at the Club House and then the party starts at 9 pm.

Two other bands have already launched their 2007 presentation to the media. Pulse 8 launched “Cocktails” last month while the Dream Team launched “Rhythm Nation” on Wednesday. The committees of both these bands are made up of people who were involved in the now dissolved Poison Mas Band.
