Indian Caribbean Museum is open
For the information of the public the Indian Caribbean Museum of Trinidad and Tobago is opened Wednesday to Sunday from the hours of 10 am to 5 pm. Since it was officially opened on Sunday May 7, 2006 the Museum has documented over 3,000 visitors. In addition to the specified opening and closing hours the Museum’s Curator, Mr S Jokhan has opened the Museum on Mondays and Tuesdays to accommodate special requests.
It is unfortunate that S Brahmachacha of San Juan could not visit the Museum. As a newly established institution of the Maha Sabha the Indian Caribbean Museum is still developing and as such it may be necessary for the Curator to conduct Museum’s business during and outside the specified opening hours and this may have been the reason that S Brahmachacha of San Juan did not meet the Museum open. However S Brahmachacha of San Juan and indeed anyone else wishing to confirm a visit to the Indian Museum can do so by calling the Curator Mr S Jokhan at 756-2734.
