Man dies after crashing into cow

Peter Thompson, 29, became the 134th road fatality for the year when he succumbed to his injuries during emergency surgery at the Sangre Grande Hospital. Thompson, of Damarie Hill, Sangre Grande, knocked down the cow, at about 4 am, as he drove along the Eastern Main Road in Valencia. The cow died on the spot. A passenger in Thompson’s car is listed in critical condition at the hospital.
