Water theme for Great Race contest

The eight contestants in the competition will wear sashes with names such as the Gulf of Paria, Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Bucco Reef, Essequibo River, Mazaruni River, Berbice River and Demerara River. All the rivers are from Guyana.

Coordinator Jackie Koon How of House of Jackie says she is looking forward to the August 26 contest as the contestants are very keen on participating. The contestants are required to parade in a gowns (elegantly casual) and bikini.

The Great Race Queen contest will come off at the Conrado Beach Resort Hotel, Pigeon Point, Tobago.

Patrons at the Mas Camp Pub got a taste of things to come as the contestants appeared on stage in bikini on Wednesday night.
