Landslips on North Coast

Officials from the Ministry of Works cleared the debris in a matter of hours which also blocked the North Coast Road, which runs through the small village. Heavy rains flooded low -lying areas, and some roads were cluttered with debris and trees.

In Maracas Bay, a landslip partially blocked North Coast Road. Employees from the Ministry of Works immediately arrived on the scene and cleared the debris.
