5 murders keep cops on a busy trail

Ramkalawan, a self-employed welder and father of two, was killed in a drive-by shooting near his home at Ragoo Street, Cunupia.

According to police reports, Ram-kalawan was standing at Ragbir Trace at about 10 am, when he was shot six times by occupants in a silver car.

Residents claimed that Ramkala-wan had an ongoing feud with neighbours, the police said.

Meanwhile, the manhunt continues for the killers of Christopher Nelson, 48, Renald Elie, 46, Gerald Gibson, 52, and 23-year-old Willard Cantaro Ravello. The men were gunned down by two masked gunmen while playing dominoes outside a parlour at Kerna-ham Trace, Cunupia, on August 11.
