Lingo stars again on court

The American-based Lingo whipped Meeka Etienne of Dominica 6-0, 6-2 and later slammed Michelle Gun-Munro of St Vincent 6-0, 6-3 in the girls’ round-robin phase.

Other Trinidad and Tobago winners on the girls’ circuit were Keneel Teesdale, who cruised past Barbados’ Jodie Watson 6-2, 6-2 and Nalini Maharaj whipped Jasmine Jackson 6-4, 6-1.

In the boys’ round-robin category, four TT players were victorious. Javier Lewis mauled Kemitri Morton of St Kitts/Nevis 6-0, 6-0; Keegan De Silva hammered Barbados’ Jackson Kerr 6-0, 6-1; John Lutchman crushed Mergregor Mongroo of St Lucia 6-2, 6-1 and Liam Gomez took care of Aaron Moses of Grenada 6-2, 6-3.
