Trincity take over UWI football

The Trincity men edged previous leaders Harvard Flippers 2-1 with goals by Frederick Douglas and Kerry Fredericks. Jerome Bennett netted the reply.

Then Trincity collected three points the easy way when RBTT defaulted their match to move on to 19 points. Heliport Strikers won and drew to move up the standings in Group “B” of the Premier League.

They were held 0-0 by TSTT then slammed Valencia 5-0 with Jason Peters scoring a hat-trick and Roger Campbell and Gary Prescott the others.

And Tamana United edged up the standings in the First Division Group 2, when they shut out 2-0 on goals by Omari Samuels and Kevin Bertrand.
