TTUTA nominees announced

The nomination of candidates was held last Friday. Vying for the post of President is Amral Hosein of Chaguanas Junior Secondary School and Roustan E Job of Malick Secondary School. Hosein has contested the post before while Job was third-vice-president of the TTUTA executive when Trevor Oliver was President (1998-2004).

There is only one nominee for the first Vice-President post - Jenny Lynne Cyrille, the principal of San Juan Secondary School, Second Vice-President - Orville Carrington of Barataria Junior Secondary School and Third-Vice President - Keith Sankar of Siparia Union Presbyterian School.

The nominee for General Secretary is Peter Wilson of San Juan Secondary Composite School and Treasurer is Komaldi Chotai, of Mafeking Government Primary School. Wilson and Carrington were also on the executive three years ago during Oliver’s administration.

Chotai and Sankar are members of the current executive led by Clyde Permell.
