Synergy Super Model finalists chosen

In its second year, the competition titled, “The Beauty Of We Land”, invited young women between the ages of 16 and 25 years and young men between 18 and 26, to step up and find out who is willing to do what it takes to take home the prize.

Organisers Synergy TV developed the project as a reality series to captivate the audience with a new format, as well as produce a truly international model capable of holding his/her own on the world stage.

Like last year’s competition, the viewing audience is able to view the transformation from audition to final event, as the 13-week journey goes through the ultimate hands-on training to introduction to the fashion industry.

Ten photo shoots at multiple locations (compared to two last year), were scheduled, along with the production of a television commercial and numerous fashion shows.

Every week, the model hopefuls participate in adventurous challenges to highlight their abilities, work as individuals, as part of a team, follow instructions, and be able to adapt under stressful situations and environments.

Points are scored based on the photographs taken during the weekly shoots. One male and one female will be eliminated every week to bring the final selection down to two males and two females to be judged at the final event.

Prizes for the winners include a three-week trip to New York with airfare, accommodation and spending money, a casting call to Click Modelling Agency of New York, and a one-year local modeling contract valued at $25,000. There are also weekly prizes.
