Ugas a 1st degree Black Belt

The 18-year-old Ugas was promoted by the Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation (TTKF).

Ugas is a member of Bassai Karate Dojo (BKD-Orlando branch) and a student of Sensei Darryl Williams.

He has been training for the past four years and has served as an instructor with the BKD.

Ugas will receive his homlogation certificate from the World Union of Karate-Do Organisation (WUKO) and is seeking referee and coaching licenses from WUKO and TTKF.

The young martial artist will be attending Valencia College.

TTKF congratulates Shelly-Ann Christopher on being elected as the new treasurer.

The organisation wishes to express full confidence in Christopher and looks forward to a successful tenure.
