Suzuki climbs Guinness Book of Records
The Suzuki Sport XL7 Hill Climb Special, driven by Nobihiro “Monster” Tajima, president of Suzuki Sport won the 85th anniversary run of the well known Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in July 2007 in ten minutes and one second, breaking the record held by Australian Rod Miles driving a Toyota 13 years ago. The Suzuki Sport XL7 Hill Climb Special VVT (variable value timing) 3.6 litre V6 motor delivers 993 bhp and 738lb ft of torque with the aid of super chargers. Nobihiro “Monster” Tajimia has already set a new objective of “breaking the ten minute barrier” when he returns for the 2008 event.
