KFC cricket squad off to Grenada
The final squad will be selected on October 8 with the team departing for Guyana on October 13.
Notable exclusions from the Trinidad and Tobago team are Adrian Barath and Darren Bravo who will be representing the West Indies Under-19 team.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has included the West Indies Under-19 team in the regional limited overs competition in preparation for the ICC Under-19 World Cup which is being held in Malaysia next year.
The Trinidad and Tobago team is scheduled to leave for Grenada today to compete in the Grenada Cricket Festival which is a privately sponsored Twenty20 tournament.
Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago selectors, Dudnath Ramkessoon said that the tournament was being used to sharpen up the team ahead of the KFC Cup with the squad expected back home on October 8.
