Had you allowed Winston Dookeran to lead the UNC and mould it into what is now the COP, the reformed UNC would have won the election.

This stark reality has hit Panday and his supporters hard. This is the reason that Panday is spitting so much venom as he tries to extricate himself from his error in judgment. Like Ramnath he resorts to attacking our wives and children for his failure as a leader.

You have been a political leader for more than 30 years and can muster only 194,425 votes in this election. Winston Dookeran has been a leader of a political party for just over one year and he has won the hearts of 148,041 voters, without financial inducements to Mosques, Mandirs and Cricket Clubs. That is political leadership par excellence!
