New comedy at Central Bank

Penelope Spencer, Nikki Crosby, Cecilia Salazar, Debra Boucaud Mason and Mairoon Ali all star in the sensational new comedy hit, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo”.

The play was written by Norm Foster, the writer of the hit comedies ‘The Perfect Ten,’ ‘I Love You Till Somebody Better Comes Along” and this year’s box office hit, ‘What’s Sex Got To Do With It’ and adapted to the local stage by Penelope Spencer.

This comedy centres around four women surviving by the oldest trade in the world in the small village of Guapo, deep south. Patrons can be assured of a night of non stop laughter mixed with some endearing moments as we catch a glimpse of life that most of us know very little of.

Produced by HAHAHA Productions in collaboration with Funny Farm Factory Productions, this play is directed by Debra Boucaud Mason who had us laughing in the recent comedy hit, ‘One Night Stand’ and last year’s, “ I love You Till Somebody Better Comes Along’ and ‘Men Gone Wild’.

“The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo” premieres at the Central Bank Auditorium in Port-of-Spain on Wednesday and continues at the venue until Sunday. This production will not be extended (simply because no space is available) and it will not be going to Naparima Bowl. Early bookings can be made by calling, 623-0845, 646-7203, 768-8663 and 708-8892.
