WASA kick way to President’s Cup

They out-kicked Maloney FC 4-2 on penalty kicks after the teams played to a 2-2 draw in the final at the Marvin Lee Stadium on Sunday.

The victory was worth all of $4,500 to WASA.

Manu John gave the Maloney men the lead after just six minutes but Nkosi Telemaque pulled WASA level in the 16th.

Nigel Hart put the WASA men ahead shortly after the resumption from the half-time break only for John to net his second of the match and the equaliser and there was no further scoring, sending the game into penalties.
