Just a bunch of garbage

Hmmmm........

On the morning of April 17, one could have seen the spick and span nature of the route along the Uriah Butler Highway, and feel proud. Temporarily so. Then, as one just passed the Macaulay overpass going south, 14 bags of garbage and strewn litter at six areas were seen in the median between lanes, up to 200 yards before the Pointe-a-Pierre entrance.

No big thing. Surely the CEPEP contractors were aware of such and would return to remove it, considering the fact that the spouses of the delegates were visiting the Wild Trust on the 18th.

By the evening of the 17th, the garbage was still there. Okay. Then, on the 18th the garbage was still there, and counting down, 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm . . . The entourage passed . . . still there. What a big shame!

At time of writing, (April 30) the garbage is all there. Values for aesthetics have been, shredded and thrown through the windows, thus pouring contempt for Southerners.

How serious can TT be???
