Take pattern from black birds
THE EDITOR: We should look at and learn from our little black birds. I started to observe these birds when I noticed that they are the only birds that do not try to break the dog-chow pellets, that they share with my dogs, by knocking them against something for long periods, like the other types of birds. Their intelligence guides them to soak these pellets in water nearby to soften them for eating. These birds live in communities in which the whole flock teaches the young ones, protects them and each other fearlessly. They live together, fly together and nest and feed together in total harmony and awareness, all for their common good, contentment and meaningful survival. L JOSEPH St Ann’s
