US running out of friends
THE EDITOR: So George W Bush put the United States between Iraq and a hard place. Anyone could have seen this coming — except George Bush, that is. Now he does not know how to get out so he insists that the US will not abandon its friends. The only friends the US has in Iraq is the government they put in place. Everybody else wants them out. The hardest place the US has to deal with is the space between George Bush’s ears. He invaded another country based on lies, he process killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and thousands of US soldiers. But he refuses to learn his lesson; he is now looking for an excuse to invade Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and Syria. Like Adolph Hitler, he believes that whatever he does is a God-given right and that he must pursue it to finality, no matter how many lives are lost in the process. KARAN MAHABIRSINGH Carapichaima
