St Lucien Road pavements taking too long

THE EDITOR: I would like to ask the Minister of Works, Mr Colm Imbert why the pavements on St Lucien Road between Majuba Cross Road and Wendy Fitzwilliams Boulevard are taking so long to be completed. The driveways of some houses have been removed and are yet to be replaced by these workers.

I overheard two men in Tru Valu making a bet that the extension of the Diego Martin Highway to the Wendy Fitzwilliams Boulevard would be completed before the pavements on St Lucien Road, well it seems that one of the gentlemen would certainly win his bet. The St Lucien Road pavements would go down in history in Trinidad and Tobago where a highway was built before a pavement could be completed. Please Mr Imbert could you help us out in this long drawn out situation.
