Frederick Street an embarrassment

THE EDITOR: I am writing this letter on Sunday January 29 after taking a drive from the Savannah down Frederick Street to Independence Square. There is only one word to describe the condition of the road, pavements, the clothes hanging all over the store fronts and the garbage at the side of the road: "shameful." If this is our main street in the city, I dread to see the other city streets.
