Kenson builds on new alliance, sees growth
The Kenson Group specialises in operation and maintenance services for offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities, and has now joined forces with Production Services Network (PSN), an international service contractor to oil, gas and other process industries.
With this new venture, Kenson can now realise its vision to not only expand its service offerings, but also to extend its reach to a larger group of clients both locally and internationally.
“Kenson admits that its partner PSN fully understands the concept of adding and driving value to our client base,” stated Kenneth Ferguson, founder and chairman of Kenson.
“PSN, like Kenson, adheres to the philosophy that our clients’ success is critical to our own success and growth, and that principle, above all, made us certain that our partnership with this company would flourish.”
Kenson has been providing specialised labour services for the upstream oil and gas industry in Trinidad and Tobago for the past 14 years.
The company is a well positioned leader in the industry having grown from ten employees in 1994 to well over 300 staff to date. PSN, a leading energy services business based in Scotland, has an operational network of nearly 8,500 people working in 20 countries spread across five continents.
With this joint venture, “Kenson takes very seriously its mission to continuously build our local competency in the field of oil and gas services and support,” said Ferguson. “This joint venture makes us capable of offering the full range of engineering, construction, hook-up and commissioning, operational and maintenance support requirements to local, regional and international markets and now positions us as one of the few single source suppliers in the region,” he said
