Elated at protest over UWI firing

What confuses me is the adopted name/word “gay”. Gay means various things according to the Thesaurus, such as happy, joyful, carefree etc.

Now don’t get me wrong, I have homosexual friends and believe that they should not be discriminated against and should definitely have the same rights as everyone else, man or woman. But not more.

While I am on this topic, I was wondering what happened to the Censors Board which used to scrutinise movies that were shown in cinemas. It can’t still be in existence as now it seems that anything goes.

My issue is with a television show called The Modern Family which is aired on CNC3 at 8 pm and which promotes homosexuality for the young and impressionable to view. Can’t this show be aired at a later time or is the gay influence so strong that they are now ruling the roost in T&T also?
