Classical guitarist hosts Viva!

The classical and flamenco guitarist from Trinidad and Tobago, began studying classical guitar with Graham Newling in 2001 and successfully completed grade 8, the final grade of the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music exams. He won best Senior Guitar Solo at the National Music Festival and founded his own guitar school, Stefan’s Guitar Academy, teaching classical guitar and music theory.

Roach has performed at numerous weddings, corporate dinners, cocktails and National Functions, including this year’s Independence Day National Awards at Queen’s Hall. In September 2012, his presentation of A Night of Classical and Flamenco Guitar and Dance at Fiesta Plaza, MovieTowne, was well received.

The Living Water Community and Just Because Foundation are two of the main beneficiaries of the production, Viva!. Roach belongs to the Living Water Community, and he has developed a close relationship with the Just Because Foundation after his nephew was diagnosed with cancer in July 2011.
