Pereira & Co gets stamp of approval from TTPost
The new technology brings significant change to the market by enabling TTPost customers to refill their postage meters electronically via Pitney Bowes proprietary Postage by Phone infrastructure.
Customers will no longer be required to physically bring their postage metres to the Post Office.
The Pitney Bowes brand is not new to Trinidad and Tobago, as its relationship with Pereira and Company Limited, now a member company of the Neal and Massy Group, dates back to 1957.
“Serving the Trinidad and Tobago postal market with Pitney Bowes solutions has been a long-standing objective for the company, and this latest development strengthens Pereira’s rich tradition as both a solutions provider to the postal market and valuable partner to TTPost” said Anna Henderson, CEO of Pereira and Company Limited.
“We are excited to have played a part in improving the quality of life for the people of TT by integrating this type of technology into such a critical area of a highly-utilised public service,” she added.
This technology migration initiative was led by TTPost’s business development manager, Ryan David and product manager, Retail and Finance Nichole Rajkumar, and continues to be supported by Chase De Souza, sales consultant of Pereira and Company Limited.
Trinidad and Tobago now joins Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Curacao, and Jamaica as part of the Caribbean market offering digital postage metre technology.
