Political puppet leader
THE EDITOR: In his quest to appease Jack Warner, Gerald Yetming and their losing team of Progressive Candidates, new UNC Political Leader, Winston Dookeran appears to have insulted the integrity of former senate president Ganace Ramdial and his Voluntary Team of 130 electoral workers, by claiming that "the recount process was flawed and too critical to be swept under the carpet." In order to substantiate this statement which has now seriously damaged the credibility of the Party, Mr Dookeran needs to explain to the party membership and the general public exactly where he and key complainants of the progressives team viz Jack Warner and Gerald Yetming were on the appointed day of the recounts. What is particularly sad about this group is that whilst neither one of them could find the time to attend the recount process they could conveniently find the time go to the media. With the leadership of he party being handed to him on a platter, Mr Dookeran therefore needs to stop being a puppet in the hands of Jack Warner and Gerald Yetming. Sooner rather than later, this member will be calling on the Patriots in the Executive to move a view of no confidence in him. FREDERICK D ALEXANDER Williamsville
