Free shows on the net
THE EDITOR: Once again subscribers of CCTT are subject to the blackout of various programmes on cable. I have often wondered why subscribers pay the monthly fee which I believe is a higher rate than American subscribers. If a local station obtains the exclusive rights to any programme, can CCTT not pay them for the right to broadcast the programme? Why then are we paying for cable? It seems that citizens are always on the losing end of these things. We pay for a service and many times we get ripped off. So much for CCTT. I guess I will just have to see any programme I want on the net. Its amazing anything you do not get to see on TV can be found for free on the net. IVAN K GRIMES Port-of-Spain
