Trini posse says congrats
The Editor: The Soca Warriors’ monumental achievement is certainly a vehicle, or at least the impetus, which Trinidad and Tobago must utilise to bring us back from the depths of doom and gloom. For a brief moment, this year’s staggering murder rate, was forgotten. However the reality is that we live in extremely tumultuous times in our twin isle state. Sport is perhaps the only discipline, with all due respect to religion, which universally affords us as a nation the respite to reflect, rejoice and rebuild. Thank you to the Warriors, Dennis Lawerence, Mr Beenhakker and Mr Warner, may we as a nation build on this momentum. To Bahrain, the less said about their disgraceful reaction to their elimination the better. However, one sympathises with their grief, as they really got a six for a nine, as we gladly give them November 16th for our November 19th. The ghosts have been exorcised, the hatchet buried, WE GOING GERMANY! Congrats to the Warriors from the Trini Posse, we will be there in full force, showing the world all that is good about Trinidad and Tobago. Dr Nigel Camacho Cascade
