We salute Councillor Rambharath

THE EDITOR: I wish to congratulate Councillor Harold Rambharath from the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation for the excellent work he is doing in Claxton Bay area. For the first time in many years we have been spared of the flooding in most of the areas. This has been due to his foresight in clearing the appropriate drains and waterways thereby facilitating the free flow of water.

Additionally, he has also been proactive in implementing other projects that has led to the general enhancement in several communities. I commend him also for taking immediate action in clearing a lot of debris and garbage that fell off a truck on one of the major exits to the Claxton Bay Highway. On learning about this hazard to drivers on the road, Mr Rambharath pursued and gave this priority. We salute you Councillor, despite all the challenges I am sure you must have, you are indeed working for us. Thank you and keep up the good work.
