Lift the standards of the international Indian concerts
THE EDITOR: I attended a recent concert at the Centre of Excellence. During this concert one of the main performers appeared to be consuming alcohol during his performance. At another concert I attended, the show started with four songs by a local singer. During his presentation, at the end of each verse, he was asking the crowd to scream and wave their hands in the air. This was not a chutney show. This was an international show where I paid four hundred dollars per ticket for my family and myself to attend. I expect a certain quality of show. If I wanted to see a drunken artiste or wave and scream, I would have gone to a ten-dollar free drinks show (not with my family). BOBBY JAGGERNAUTH Dinsely Tacarigua
