Gillian, you shouldn’t do that
THE EDITOR: The National Transformation Party (NTP) says that the decision by Member of Parliament Gillian Lucky to join the defence team of embattled MP Franklin Khan is unconstitutional and is a practice that must be made to cease. The NTP says that the "oath of allegiance" to serve the State must supersede all other oaths, therefore to appear on the team for the defence in a matter pursued by the State must be seen as being in contradiction to the oath of allegiance. Though the practice is not new, it must be seen for what it is, which is, a contradiction to the oath of allegiance, and must discontinue.
