Reward Warriors before Christmas
THE EDITOR: It is my view that our Government should reward the "Soca Warriors" for their qualification to World Cup in Germany now. Or at least before Christmas. I feel that the captain of the Squad cannot determine with honesty what the members really desire in their hearts. The captain has all that he needs and wants. Other members are not so fortunate and they are anxiously looking forward in anticipation to the reward. At least give now what you think they deserve, and possibly more when you discuss with the captain. It would be wise if you put yourself in their places. Ease their tension please. What is worse all those other countries have already awarded their players with gifts and promises of more to come if they win the World Cup. THOMAS METCAFFE Pt Cumana
