Williams voted Cricketer of Year


NELLY WILLIAMS was adjudged as the Trinidad and Tobago’s Women’s Cricket Board of Control (TTWCBC) 2005 "Player of the Year" on Saturday.


During the award ceremony at the Unit Trust Corporation (UTC) Independence Square, Port-of-Spain, Williams collected the title for the second straight year.


The opening batswoman also joined Roxanne Toussaint, Envis Williams, Marissa Aguillera and Jade Chadee as the "Five Players of the Year."


Aguillera was voted as the "Most Improved Player" while Felicia Cummings was chosen as the "Most Disciplined Player" and Amanda Samaroo the "Most Promising."
