Well they will all have to come very good to lower the status of Bruceontheloose in that Arima Race Club Cup race over 1800 metres on February 27.

“Bruce” showed he was romping fit two weeks ahead of the race with a brilliant and smooth gallop over 800 metres yesterday morning together with Asian Express.

The John O’Brien-trained duo went fluently through their workout to be clocked in a very good 49.0 seconds.

Holding the same engagement Ksar Ghilane again showed up well at gallops with a run over 800 metres also in 49.0 seconds, but this one has not translated his gallops form to race day.

And Brickyard Crossing flashed some speed in a 600 metres gallop timed in 35.1 seconds.

Meanwhile, Go For The Gold also starred at gallops yesterday with a run over 1000 metres in one minute 04.4 seconds.

Mupika posted a good run over 800 metres in the excellent time of 48.4 seconds on the turf course while Rewardsinheaven was clocked in one minute 06.1 seconds for a 1000 metres spin.

And last year’s two-year-old king Treasure Hunt got ready for his next engagement with a run over 800 metres in a good 49.1 seconds.
